Annual Festival of BeersThe 23rd Annual Festival of Beers will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Central Park at Mill Creek.  The new location for 2015 comes with a new name for the event - The Country and Craft Beer Festival.

The Active 20-30 Club's "Festival of Beers" has become an annual staple for avid Bakersfield party-goers and event sponsors alike. Since its modest beginning, Festival of Beers now boasts an average attendance of 3,500 people and raises over $80,000 annually for the in-need children of Kern County.

Attendees of the event are invited to sample from a wide selection of over 125 beers, enjoy food from popular Bakersfield restaurants and to be wowed by the talented live entertainment (bands to be announced). General admission ticket prices are $30 in advance / $40 at the gate (prices subject to change) and include a souvenir cup for beer sampling, a catered meal and fun in the sun with your friends. For the attendee that would like to escape the crowds and chill in the shade, VIP area tickets are available for only $100. The Festival of Beers VIP will receive exclusive access to the shaded VIP area where they can enjoy food, specialty beverages and acoustic entertainment.

The Active 20-30 Club of Bakersfield was founded in 1928. Our chapter is geared towards men in their 20's and 30's. The club's objective is to serve the underprivileged youth in our community while developing leadership in young men.

Active 20-30 membership draws from all professions and is open to everyone within the age qualifications. Our organization differs from many other service organizations in that not only do we raise money for needy children's charities, but also insist upon "hands-on" interaction. This active participation serves to solidify our personal relationships with those we serve, maintains motivation, and produces a high degree of personal satisfaction.

We serve the children of Kern County through direct contributions in excess of $100,000 annually. The distribution of these monies is voted on by the board of directors. 100% of all funds go to charities; absolutely no money goes toward administrative or overhead costs.

If you are interested in joining the Active 20-30 Club of Bakersfield, email the Board of Directors - board@active2030.org.
